crys cole is a Canadian sound artist, currently based in Berlin, working in composition, performance and sound installation. Working in modalities that emphasize focused listening, she develops pieces through haptic gestures and seemingly mundane sources to create texturally nuanced works that continuously retune the ear.
Oren Ambarchi is an Australian multi-instrumentalist whose practice focuses on the exploration of the guitar. He is a prolific solo artist and consummate collaborator who has performed and recorded with a diverse array of artists over the last three decades. Since 2009 Ambarchi has run the Black Truffle label. Ambarchi’s latest album is Shebang released via US label Drag City.
Seracs is an experimental music duo formed in 2019 by longtime friends and serial collaborators Curran Faris and Cole Peters. Drawing on a deep and shared love of sound, Seracs reference the techniques of musique concrete, electroacoustic, and early electronic music while surfacing distinct forms through a process of dialogue and experimentation. After several years of preparation interrupted by numerous lockdowns and social distancing, Seracs will make their live debut on October 29.
