Makade Star presents two evenings of noise and experimental music at aceartinc., in the main gallery at 206 Princess Street. Both shows are Pay What You Can, with a recommended donation of $10 to support visiting artists.
On July 29th at 7:00 p.m.:
Shadow Pattern – Outsider audio explorations. Magnetic tape journeys courtesy of Nathan Ivanco based in Hamilton.
Deep Grey – DGAST (Deep Grey Auditory Stabilization Therapy) can relieve your physical and mental ailments fast. Deep Grey may have the solutions you need.
Blanching – Harsh noise works from Adara Moreau (Body of Intrigue, Ardor). Her first performance under this moniker (that’s not in a cold North End basement).
White Gladis – The boat’s captain saw the two smaller whales imitating the ramming tactic of the larger orca, believed to be a matriarch named “White Gladis.” A collaboration between artists Doreen Girard, Marie-France Hollier, and Bret Parenteau.
